Panda Garden: Authentic Chinese Cuisine in San Marcos, CA

My mom ordered a bunch of dishes for takeaway dinner & the food is just as delicious as I remembered. The walnut shrimp, combination fried rice & salt & pepper chicken are still my favorites! It's been a few years since I've had Panda Garden, but I've been eating here since I was a little kid. It's nice to know it's still the quality Chinese food it has always been after all these years. Thank you for such wonderful service! You guys are still the best Chinese food in San Marcos, by far!!

I visit family in the san diego area less than once a year, and everytime I am in town I make sure we do take out from panda garden! My family knows the owner Alan, and he is an awesome guy and takes pride in his business. This is what I HAVE to order: Orange beef ( so, so good! Highly recommend) Moo shu chicken Yang chow fried rice (I think I spelled that right?) The food is delicious, portions are big, and the service quick. I will see you next year panda garden, I can't wait!

This is currently our family's Chinese of choice. They have consistent, predictable food, friendly staff, they're quick, and we always have leftovers to bring home (I'm a tragic over-orderer, but I love variety). My favorite dishes are actually their vegetable dishes, like bok choy or eggplant. I will say they don't go too spicy, which is a small minus for me, but it saves my children so I can't really complain. Solid for north county.

I previously worked in San Marcos and Panda Garden was a frequent lunch spot for my team. Known for it's hearty lunch specials and have all different options for everyone. I almost always got the Sweet and Sour Chicken or the Spicy Honey Chicken. This always came with Egg Drop Soup with some wontons as a starter. Then rice and an egg roll with the main entree. Always satisfied after leaving and really fast service.

Neighbor recommended and yes! It was a great recommendation. Best lo mein! Walnut shrimp is like coconut shrimp with candied walnuts. Such a super yummy dish! Will get both again. Hubby didn't like broccoli shrimp or fried rice but loved the lo mein and will order again just for how great the lo mein was. Can't wait to make this place our regular to go!
